Day Opportunities

The adult day opportunity service operates from two key locations across Hartlepool:

1. The Centre for independent living based at Burbank Street is a purpose-built service accredited by the National Autistic Society (NAS) and provides a number of therapeutic options for people with profound and multiple disabilities, the service can be accessed following a Care Act Assessment;
2. The Waverley allotment Group provides a range of horticultural activities based at its Waverley Terrace site. The service provides support to people with a learning disability and or autism and is engaged with a number of local community and voluntary groups.
